Taxes

Create tax rates for your shop and apply them to individual products, from the Taxes settings tab.

The Taxes tab is where you create the tax rates your shop can charge. Open Settings from the dashboard sidebar and select the Taxes tab.

Each tax you create is listed with its name and a short summary of how it's applied (for example "2.00% will be charged as tax on every order").

Add a tax

Click Add new tax to open the Add tax dialog, then fill in the fields:

Tax Name. A label for the tax, such as Sales Tax. Required.
Rate (%). The tax rate as a percentage, for example 2. Required.

Click Add to save, or Cancel to close without adding it.

Manage a tax

Use the ⋮ (three-dot) menu next to a tax to:

Edit. Change its name or rate.
Delete. Remove the tax.

Creating a tax here only makes it available to use — it isn't charged on its own. Once a tax exists, you select it on a product when you add or edit a product, under Shipping & Tax → Select Tax.

A tax applies only to the products you select it on, not to every order automatically. Assign the right tax to each product so customers are charged correctly at checkout.

Additional Charges

Add extra fixed-price charges such as packaging, service, or delivery fees, applied to every order at checkout, from the Additional Charges settings tab.

Notifications

Turn push notifications on or off, choose which notification types you receive, set default recipients, and review your device subscription, from the Notifications settings tab.
