Coupons

Create and manage discount coupons to boost customer loyalty, from the Coupons page.

The Coupons page is where you create and manage discount codes for your store. Open it from Coupons in the dashboard sidebar.

The toolbar

Above the coupon list you'll find:

  • Search Coupons. Find a coupon by its code.
  • Filter dropdown. Show All coupons, or only coupons of a certain type: Percent or Flat.
  • Create Coupon. Create a new coupon (see below).

The coupon list

Each coupon is shown as a card with:

  • Code and toggle. The coupon's code, with a toggle to turn it on or off.
  • Discount summary. A short line describing the discount, for example "10.00% off on orders above $40."
  • Sales generated. The total sales this coupon has brought in.
  • Usage. How many times the coupon has been used, out of its usage limit (for example 0 out of 4 used).
  • Validity. The coupon's expiry date, or N/A if it doesn't expire.
  • Share coupon. Copy or share the coupon code. The menu next to it has:
    • Edit. Update the coupon's details.
    • Delete. Remove the coupon.

Creating a coupon

Click Create Coupon to open the Create Coupon page. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

At the top of the page, the Coupon type toggle picks how the discount applies to the order: Percentage or Flat. You stay on the same page either way, only the discount field in Coupon details changes to match. Follow whichever path matches the type you want.

Percentage path

Use this path for a coupon that takes a percent off the order.

Select Percentage

Click Percentage in the Coupon type toggle at the top of the page.

Fill in the coupon details

  • Coupon Code (required). Type your own code, or click Generate to create a random one.
  • Discount Percent (required). The percent off the order, for example 10 for 10% off.

  • Min order value (required). The smallest order total the coupon can be used on.

Set the validity period

  • Start Date. Pick when the coupon becomes active, using the calendar and time pickers.
  • Set an end date. Tick this to also choose an end date, after which the coupon stops working. Leave it unticked for a coupon that never expires.

  • Limit usage. Tick this to cap how many times the coupon can be used in total, then enter the number.
  • Limit to one use per customer. Tick this so each customer can only use the coupon once.
